it needs to be easier to be a veg*n. if being a veg*n were less controversial a decision and less challenging a lifestyle more non- veg*ns would be willing to try it out, even for one day...even for one meal! that’s what ‘place in the sun’ is here to do. to make it more fun and yum to be a veg*n in the modern world.

we thought long and hard about what we could do to contribute to the veg*n movement. of course education is crucial - let everyone make their own choice about veg*nism, but let it be a choice made armed with the facts. there are many organisations working hard to gather and distribute that information and we are committed to supporting them – we contribute a proportion of the proceeds of our work to help them continue theirs**. we conceived place in the sun to offer a complimentary approach towards our common ends, an additional strategy to propel the veg*n movement another step forward.

through a series of media-based projects we seek to bring veg*nism to the masses, break it into the mainstream.

if we all unite, the veg*n demographic can be presented as being as vital and enviable as it truly is. because we need to defeat popular misconceptions as to what and who a veg*n might be. we need to open the conversation, be spokespeople disseminated throughout the world spreading the message and answering critics. together, we need to show the world that veg*nism isn’t just for a specific few, it’s a choice available for any thoughtful and compassionate human.

this is surely a big goal. but it is only upon us, as veg*ns, to make it happen. because the world really can change, one veg*n at a time.
